I've been on and off the fence about rehoming Portia for several years, to no fault of hers. She had many years of professional training and was shown before we purchased in 2016. She's definitely being underused and has so much potential going to waste. She was trained thru second level dressage, and was shown in Hunter Pleasure, Halter Classes+ by previous owner/trainer. Own Daughter of Champion Stallion 'Justafire DGL' producer of accomplished show winners, and Granddaughter of Numaa++ (Dam's side). DNA typed and Sweepstakes Nominated. Portia was evaluated on her conformation and movement as a prospective PSG, National level horse by international Judges (valued at $25,000 when younger). Easy keeper. Doesn't require special care or extra maintenance, medications, injections, etc. Up to date on 4-way (Flu/Tet), de-worming, hoof trim, dental. Respectful in her stall when feeding/cleaning. Portia has been used by different aged riders since we have had her (mostly Novices), with supervision and/or lessons. Great in hand, grooming, tacking up, mounting/dismounting, etc. I would like to see Portia with a rider that can ride regularly, rather than occasionally. When we first brought Portia home, I took her on a couple of trail rides, and she seemed to enjoy it. Portia will thrive with a knowledgeable and dedicated partner. An assortment of blankets, quality leather halter with name engraved, neck cover, leg wraps, misc., can go with her. Your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation is welcome. When Portia leaves, we want new owner/s to be tickled pink with her. My first choice of partners for Portia is with a confident intermediate rider that has the time and desire to do her justice. She's a deserving mare. Price reduced to $5500/cash, to a great home. No trades, etc. Please call (three-six-zero)366-3631 (landline, no text), for more information. Thank you.
