Senior owner has been on and off the fence about rehoming Portia for quite some time now. She's a high-quality mare looking for an ideal situation where she will be appreciated and used to her full potential. 'Portia Cayenne Afire' has many years of professional training. Trained thru second level dressage/schooling third, shown Hunter Pleasure, Halter Classes+ by her previous owner and her trainer. She might even make a good games horse too, with her speed... she can run like a racehorse (seriously) and will go... and go. She can turn and stop on a dime. Possible pole bending, barrels, keyhole or? The reason I say this is when Portia is turned out in the pasture after being in stall/paddock area for quite a while (meaning a couple weeks or so) she is breathtaking to watch (thought I'd throw that out there... maybe she'd like gaming?). Back to more details, she has a noteworthy pedigree. Own Daughter to Champion Stallion 'Justafire DGL', a producer of many accomplished show winners and Granddaughter of Numaa++, from her Dam's side. Portia is Sweepstakes Nominated and was evaluated on her conformation and her movement as a prospective PSG, National level horse by international Judges. Portia looks and acts like a younger horse. Easy keeper. Doesn't require any special care. No extra maintenance, no medications, injections, etc. She is up to date on her 4-way (flu/tet), deworming and hoof trim. Yearly dental/exam on 10/11/24. Ready for her new home. Though Portia has been used by different ages/levels of riders with supervision/lessons (start out on lead line for beginners or those with questionable ability) at our private barn, my first choice of owners is a confident intermediate+ rider that can do her justice (lots of buttons if you know how to ask). Portia is sensitive to your aids. When ridden regularly and in sync with her rider, where you look is where she goes. I don't think it would take much time to have Portia ready for a show, if you wanted to show her. Several blankets, quality leather halter with name engraved, neck cover, polo wraps, halters/leads, misc., go with her. Your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation is welcome. When Portia leaves, we want her new owner's to be tickled pink with her. We'd like to see her be doted over and get used more, since she enjoys attention and deserves an active life (my Husband and I are wanting to retire... Portia is not). In the video/s on ad Portia hadn't been ridden for several months (to no fault of hers), the first rider is a novice western rider/gamer using a dressage saddle for the first time, the second is with a gal that hadn't ridden in quite a while, with past experience. Asking $6850, to a perfectly suited situation. Cash only. No trades, etc. Please call (three-six-zero)366-3631 (land line, no text), for more information. Thank you.
