Trained thru second level dressage (schooling third), shown Hunter Pleasure, Halter Classes+ by her previous owner and her trainer. She is an easy keeper and doesn't require any special care. No extra maintenance, no medications, injections, etc. All up to date on 4-way (flu/tet), deworming, and hoof trim. Just had yearly dental/exam on 10/11/24, and everything looked good. Portia's tidy in her stall and paddock area (likes to stay clean). Handled/used by different ages and levels of riders since we've owned her (8+ years). She has lots of buttons if you know how to ask. She appreciates a soft hand, and a well-balanced seat. When Portia is in sync with her rider, where you look is where she goes. Portia's easy for grooming, picking up/cleaning feet, leading, etc. Great stall manners, and respectful of your space. Multiple visits to get familiar with Portia, along with your own pre-purchase exam, trainer evaluation, etc., are welcome. Portia enjoys being doted over and thrives with attention. My first choice of partners for her is with an intermediate rider that has access to an indoor arena where she can be ridden regularly.
