*Video is unedited, so you see the good and bad (3 riders), put together spur of the moment. The second rider in video is when Portia hadn't been ridden (except for one other time) since last Autumn and she had never met/ridden Portia before. 'Portia Cayenne Afire' (Portia) had many years of professional training and was shown before we purchased her in 2016. Definitely underused since we've had her (no fault of hers). She is too high caliber of a Mare to not be appreciated and used to full potential. She is a gorgeous Mare, has fluid movement and is very athletic. Trained thru second level dressage, and was shown in Hunter Pleasure, Halter Classes+ by previous owner and trainer. Noteworthy pedigree. Own Daughter of Champion Stallion 'Justafire DGL' producer of accomplished show winners, and Granddaughter of Numaa++ (from her Dam's side). DNA typed and Sweepstakes Nominated. Portia was evaluated on her conformation and movement as a prospective PSG, National level horse by international Judges). No special care, no extra maintenance, medications, injections, etc. She is an easy keeper (2nd cut Eastern Washington hay, Safe Choice). Up to date on 4-way (Flu/Tet), de-worming, hoof trim, dental. Respectful in her stall when feeding/cleaning. Portia's been used by different age riders since we've had her (novices-intermediates), with supervision and/or lessons. My health hasn't been good, so this is the first year I haven't had girls/women over to ride her. Great in hand, grooming, tacking up, mounting and dismounting (with or without mounting block), etc. I would like to see Portia with a rider that can ride her regularly, rather than occasionally. Portia will thrive with a knowledgeable partner that has the time and desire to spend with her. When we first got her, I took her on a couple of easy trail rides, and she seemed to enjoy it. An assortment of blankets, quality leather halter with name engraved, neck cover, leg wraps, misc., go with her. Your own pre-purchase exam, trainer's evaluation, etc. is welcome. When Portia leaves, we want her new owner/s to be tickled pink with her. My first choice of partners for Portia is with a confident intermediate+ rider that will do her justice. Asking $5850/cash, to a suitable home. Please call (three-six-zero)366-3631 (landline, no text), for more information. Thank you.
