He is the sweetest, kindest horse you will ever meet, with the most personality and a heart of gold! Don’t worry about the age; he is gentler than any 10- or 12-year-old horse I’ve seen in the last year! No wonder people love these Gypsies, and without a doubt, what has driven their popularity is their versatility and calm nature! Slick is a true testament to the breed! He is a gentle, laid-back horse that is not in a hurry. He has been ridden around the ranch and pushed cows. He has been ridden down the highways and is safe there. But his favorite thing is hitting the trails and cruising along slowly and easily! He will cross creeks, ditches, and logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY nice lope, he reins around and turns a circle both ways, sides passes and backs with ease! Slick has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife, such as deer or turkey, or other animals like cows or dogs, and will go anywhere he is asked to.
