Glenthistle’s Ramble on Rose is a 6-year-old gaited mare mule. She was bred by legendary gaited mule breeder Dickey Alexander in Bethpage, TN. She is out of a Tennessee Walking Horse mare and a proven jack. Rose had a brief show career and won and placed in shows, including a World Championship in the four and under Walking Mule class in 2022.

David Borntreger has been responsible for her finished training and trail riding experience. She has become a true trail expert by showing the ability and temperament to keep riders safe while enjoying rugged terrain. When the rocks and hills level out, Rose is ready to pick up the pace with a smooth running walk or a rack to cover some ground. Of course, she backs, side passes, neck reins, and rides with leg cues for polished handling. If you are a hunter, don’t forget to pack your rifle of choice because Rose will hold steady for a shot and reload if needed. She will hog and coon hunt in the daylight or with a headlight if required. She is fine with dogs and trail rides with them every day. She is a perfect lady with the farrier and for grooming.
