Skips Centavo aka Maverick... Take a look at this big, pretty palomino gelding that sure will catch anyone’s attention!! Maverick is a 7 yr old Registered AQHA palomino gelding that stands 15.3 and is very stout. Maverick rides very well in or out of the arena with many miles out in open country and many of trail miles making him a dream trail horse, he’s been in busy traffic and in town as well, This past summer we have hauled him to different state parks on big trail rides and was ridden by different riders, he crosses creeks, logs and has been in rough terrain and brushes. Maverick has done a lot of ranch chores from working cattle, herding horses, ponying colts, checking fences you name it, he’s done it. He is very willing and will do whatever you ask. This guy is that true family type horse that you can ride once a week, once a month or let him sit a few months and he will ride off the same. Maverick has been ridden by many different riders and is suitable for most any level of rider He was my niece and sisters favorite horse to ride and the best thing they liked about him was his smooth rocking chair lope, He has a really smooth W,T,C and has a nice extended trot. Maverick had a lot of hours in the arena where he has a one hand neck rein, he knows all the leg cues and does some lateral work, he’s very soft and supple in his body parts and soft on the bridle,he side passes, pivots, open/ closes gates and drags logs. Maverick would also make a ideal ranch rider and do the ranch trail if someone is looking to do some fun shows he would be great for that, he also has done some pasture roping and roped some on the heal side. So if you’re looking for that all around honest family friendly gelding then you don’t want to miss on Maverick! He’s good with farrier, cross ties, saddling, bathing and is good to be stalled or out in pasture with other horses and good to catch. He sells 100% sound and up to date on all vaccines, dewormer and dental work.
