Chicory retired sound from racing at almost 10 years old, and with an impressive 95 starts! He is a 2023 RRP graduate that successfully competed in Fieldhunters and Eventing. He has also completed three recognized horse trials at beginner novice and has the potential to move up the levels. He is a brave and willing partner but can be a bit forward. He does better with a confident, more experienced rider, but I feel he will make a fabulous horse for a junior with some more experience and training. Chicory has a beautiful presence and gets noticed everywhere he goes. Aside from eventing, Chicory has a fair amount of trail miles, and has completed a limited distance endurance ride. He has gone fox hunting a handful of times and seems to be loving it.
Chicory is sound and has no vices or medical issues. He currently lives out 24/7 in a small group, but also does well stalled.
