Last chance to buy this sweet mares before price goes up. To no fault of her own, I am rehoming my 2016 Grade Thoroughbred Bay Mare. Rose is a very sweet mare that stands 15.2 hands. Rose loves to be rode, groomed and loved on, she also loves children and is always up for new adventures and challenges, and is very willing. I have had very young children on her, beginner riders, and kids on her for walk/trot classes and she did well. In all transparency, the older the rider, the more inclined Rose is to challenge the rider, just to see what she can get away with. Rose is hot blood Thoroughbred mare, she has a lot of go and some whao, she will test you, but she is not malicious or dangerous in any way, she usually tries 1 to 2 mild to moderate tests ( usually throwing her head, or a mild buck or crow hop) and with correction, she’s done and acts appropriately. She has tested my beginner riding lessons students and they have been able to ride out and correct her tests with ease. She has never offered to kick or bite anyone, she has never reared up or tried to throw a rider ever. Rose spent 120 days with a professional trainer, Royston Performance Horses, for a refresher on basic skills and to start her on barrels. Rose is familiar with the barrels and poles patterns and has been to a couple of races, where she handled herself well. Rose has been trail riding a lot and can be anywhere in the group or riden alone and will do well. Rose has a lot of potential to go in any direction. Rose is an easy keeper all year round, she has been vetted, is up to date on vaccines and coggins, but is due to get her teeth float this spring. Rose has never had any injuries. She stands for farrier, Vet, grooming and bathing. Loads into trailer well. I am looking for serious people, no tire kickers, don’t waste my time and I wont waste yours. This mare means a lot to me and I will not rehome her to just anyone. If you have any questions or want more pictures or videos, please feel free to ask. Her price will go up as we get into barrel racing season and she gains more training and experience, she is priced appropriately for where she is in her training, but I will entertain reasonable offers.
