Lieutenant is a stunning coming 3-year-old GOV gelding that will turn heads in the show ring and win hearts in the barn. Lt Dan is by Louisville HTF out of Ravi Sutra (Rousseau x Riverman x Davignon x Garibaldi). He has beautiful gaits with an exceptional trot. Dan is nice enough and smart enough for a professional to bring along and a good contender for the young horse classes. He has SUCH a good brain, I can't emphasize this enough!! He has correct modern conformation, straight legs, really great feet, and currently stands around 16.2hh - we expect him to mature 17.1 to 17.3hh.
Lt. Dan is smart, easy to work with, and has been handled regularly. He is friendly and interested in people without being pushy/ in your pocket. We have started with light ground work and liberty work with him and he’s been a joy to work with. He has been raised with us since he was a weanling, and grew up in a large field with a buddy living outside 24/7. They come up in bad weather, so he’s also comfortable being in a stall as well.
His sire Louisville HTF (Lord Leatherdale/ Negro) is an impressive young stallion who recently made his 4th level debut. He has many gold medal and premium foals on the ground.
