Cisco is consigned to the Best Of The West Horse Sale in Gladstone, NJ on September 27th and 28th. If you want a horse like no one else has… here he is!!! Cisco is a stout built draftcross gelding standing around 16.1-16.2hh, he will weigh 1400lbs, he is 5 years old and he is a super RARE GRULLA color, with the tiger stripes on his legs and a dark dorsal stripe down his back! He is one cool looking guy! Not only does he look cool, he is has all of the other boxes checked as well… he is Mr. Personality, as friendly as they come, loves attention and is very calm natured. Cisco is out of the same breeding program as several other top draftcross geldings that we have had over the last 4 years and every one of them has the right mind with the calm nature that makes them great family horses. Cisco has been in our program since last year and has completed the natural horsemanship training and does liberty work and he also knows some tricks, he will bow, lay down and set on his rump. Cisco has been ridden by every member of our family all the way down to our 5 year old. He has been ridden down the highways, we have had in town and even though the bank drivethru and he is very traffic safe. Cisco is great on trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a VERY VERY nice easy to set lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways and backs with ease! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Cisco is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave. In addition to riding, Cisco has also been driven down the highways as well. Cisco is 1 in a Million, the total packagel!!!
