This is "FLINT", a really fancy BIG 17.1 HAND STEEL GRAY PERCHERON GELDING that has been ridden English and Western. He is 5 years old. He has been over the jumps and would excel as a fox hunting gelding. He loves to go trail riding and it will never get too deep or too steep for him. He lopes really nice circles, especially for a horse of his size. He is nimble and athletic on his feet and he is smooth to ride. This big gelding will one step lope and he knows his leads. He is well trained and smart. I have not ridden a horse of this size that has the movement and ride he has. He stops easily on whoa, moves off of leg cues, and you can open the gates off of him. He has been around cattle and done some ranch work. He has been ridden English and has had some dressage training. He is brave going over jumps and easy to get along with. He has excellent ground manners and is not pushy or intimidating to work around. He lopes off quietly with no hump and no buck. He handles with ease and is respectful of your space. This nice big horse is a real joy to ride. He is patient, kind, and he aims to please his rider. He has also been line driven and has drug tires and the drag. He is strong yet well broke and he can pack any size rider all day long in the mountains with no issues. He loads, bathes, hauls, and stands tied with no fuss what so ever. I really enjoy riding this big boy, as he is civilized, has a head full of sense, and can get you through whatever trail obstacle you may encounter. Call Erin 304-238-4155
