Hi, I am registered AQHA BB Cowboys Diamond, but my people call me Pepper!

I am 16 hands tall and weigh approximately 1300 lbs. I am big, strong, and athletic!

I will do best with an experienced, athletic rider. If you know how to use your weight, seat, legs, and have good hands I will ride the very best! Timing, feel, and balance are very important to me. If you are still working on these things, I may not be the horse for you. I have a lot of buttons and you will need to know how to use them. The better the rider you are the more fun I will be for you to ride!

I have a ground covering walk and prefer to move out. I have been trail riding in the mountains for the past three years. I cross water, bridges, steep hills, and rough terrain with ease. I ride out great alone! If with a group, I may prefer to lead, just because I like to walk out. It might be fun to try some endurance riding with me! I love an extended trot!

Before my current home, I was on a working cattle ranch for a bit and have been roped off.

I load in the trailer well, have good ground manners, my feet are easy to handle, and I am good for the farrier.

A gentle handler will be best for me as I am a sensitive fellow. Don’t get me wrong, I still need to know that you are my leader, and you are going to keep me safe! However, I will not do well with or be able to trust a rough handler.
