Tango's bloodlines are so impressive that he could be the only Friesian in existence with 4 Grand Prix Friesian dressage stallions in his pedigree! On his dam’s side, his grandfather is Tinus of Proud Meadows and his great grandfather is Jorrit of Proud Meadows. Both of these amazing stallions were among the first Friesians talented enough to reach the highest level of dressage in this country. Both Tinus and Jorrit have a long list of awards, championships and honors. They traveled all over the country doing exhibitions to the absolute delight of thousands of spectators. Tangos sire is Thiadrik ( recently deceased ) fan Matty’s Meadow, who was trained to Grand Prix under the guidance of Tyra Vernon, an accomplished Grand Prix rider. Thiadrik also has a long list of awards and championships. Thiadrik’s sire is Goffert 369 of Iron Springs Farm. He was one of the first Friesian stallions to compete at Grand Prix. He portrayed the Friesian as a more modern type, suitable for dressage. In 2006, his image was portrayed in a Breyer model. Tango has these 4 totally amazing stallions in his pedigree and even as a two year old, you can tell that he is special. He’s a flashy big boy with correct conformation and beautiful movement. He loves people, is curious, not spooky and is very sensible. Has been handled since birth, an in-your-pocket boy, who is ready to add 5 Grand Prix's to his pedigree !
