Everyone, I would love to introduce you to one special horse!! The Blue Fox!! Fox is a gorgeous true blue roan coming 5-year-old TWH gelding that stands a stocky 15hh. We bought Fox in the summer of 2022 and rode him until February 2023. We ended up selling him to a dear friend of ours in NC. They kept him down there for almost a year and loved him. He didn’t grow as tall as we all expected, and Luke felt his legs were just a little long for him. He’s a pretty boy. What can I say? He’s all about that Kodak moment. His dad contacted us and asked if we would care to try and sell him for him, and we jumped at the opportunity because we love Fox. We have had him back here for a few months, and he hasn’t missed a beat. Fox has had countless miles between us in the last few years. I have trail-ridden him hundreds of miles myself, hunted off him, handled dogs off him, ponied multiple horses off him, checked cattle, and numerous other things. They trail rode and camped with him for months, rode him to the local bar numerous times, and even carried him to some horse clinics. He has been all over and seen just about everything there is to see. Fox was born and raised right here, local to us as well. Our good friend bred and raised him until we bought him as a 3-year-old. Unlike most horses we get throughout the years, I know about every step he has made. From the first time he was shod, to the first time being ridden to the day he even lost his manhood 😂 I have been there or got a picture or video of it.
Fox has a very friendly “in-your-pocket” personality. He loves attention. Loves to be groomed and loved on. He’s easy to catch, clip, and bathe. Great for the farrier. Excellent cross-tie manners. Easy to saddle and bridle. Stands dead, still to be mounted. Will come over to you to be mounted as well. Always walks off slowly and easily. Fox neck reins and backs and will ride off your seat and leg. Fox will walk along all day if you like, or you can walk along the trail. He is extremely good-gaited. He has a ground-covering running walk and one of the smoothest saddle rack gaits you will ever sit. He can canter as well.
Fox is one of the best trail horses you will ever sit on. He will go up, down, or through anything and watch where he plants his feet. It doesn’t get too steep or rough for him. He loves water and eases over fallen trees and big rocks. He’s great around wildlife and livestock as well. You can also ride him in heavy traffic areas without a worry. If you want the prettiest horse in town that’s very seasoned and still young, you don’t want to miss out on your chance to own THE BLUE FOX!!
