RDJ is well know for offspring dominating the pole bending competition industry. With her looks, intelligence and athleticism, she is a prospect for other disciplines outside the pressures of racing. She is Incentive Fund although never shown IF. "Reyna" is the most honest barrel racer and pole bending horse and hunts the barrels; has never run passed one or gone off course. She rides in the lightest bits (simplicity, jr cowhorse, S hack, tender touch). She is very responsive, forward mover, push style on barrels, great gentle ground manners. Her only con is she gets anxiety pre-race before entering alley. Once forward movement is gained into alley, she's all about making her run. A calm experienced rider with good light hands is best She has only been lightly hauled over the years due to life situations, no fault of her own. She has run 2D/3D with light hauling and not being really pushed. First indoor show NBHA FL State against over 873 entries, she overshot winning the 3D by .02 seconds with no professional training. I haven't put her in crowded staging situations of Supershows due to anxiety behavior. I have used supplements with understanding and calm firm handling but never any pricey paste or drugs for this. She's an easy keeper and easy maintenance; has had two very attractive athletic colts. First was sold within hours after posting as a yearling. The second colt currently on her side is by a son of ASNY and he looks outstanding. With her pedigree, she would also make a nice broodmare as well in the sporthorse, HUS, racing and many other disciplines. She is a fantastic mother. She will be available in November after weaning. I have owned her her entire life (born here). She was extremely easy to train which is noted in the bloodline and has never bucked or reared. Thought I would never sell her but life forces me to thin the herd and focus on just a few that are training.
