Name: The Knight Bloodline: Kastanienhof Donnertrommler(Dornik B x Diva Delight) X Eiluns Laissez Faire Age: 6 years old, turning 7 in May Color: Black Dun Breed: German Riding Pony Price: Low 5 figures Negotiable to the perfect home It's with a heavy heart that I've made the decision to offer my beloved pony, The Knight, for sale. As a 20-year-old balancing a full-time job, a side hustle, and ownership of three horses, the reality is that I can no longer provide him with the attention and care he deserves. I personally traveled to Germany to select and import The Knight and his brother from a multitude of ponies. With dedication and guidance from my horsemanship coach Michelle Young, we've transformed him from a field pony into the perfect equine companion he is today. The Knight is courageous, confident, and the epitome of cuddliness. Talents: Knight is a gentle and courageous pony with a calm demeanor. He loves people and he is easy to catch, lead, cross tie, and tack. He is great for the vet and farrier. He is going well at a walk and trot under saddle and has had some experience being ridden out of the ring. He has also done liberty work, loves to be ridden bareback and bitless, and is excellent for trailer loading and hauling. Please see Knight's YouTube channel for videos on his many talents! weakness: Knight is still quite green under saddle as we have prioritized giving him time to grow and have a solid foundation on the ground before being ridden. He has been cantered under saddle but is not very balanced or confident with it yet. Knight is also still developing in his body and will need time and patience to help him find his full potential. Due to this, I am seeking someone who has experience with young or green horses themselves, or someone who will be under the guidance of an experienced trainer/coach who can help them continue to develop Knight under saddle. Knight has mostly been handled and ridden by a professional and that, along with him still being young, is why I feel he is not an appropriate match for a child or beginner rider at this time. Despite the considerable time, money, and effort I've invested in The Knight, my priority is ensuring he finds an exceptional forever home. His price point reflects this, as I'm more concerned about his welfare than financial gain. All of my horses have thrived in a 3F system: Forage, Friend, Freedom. It's imperative to me that The Knight goes to a home that shares these values. Ideally, his new owner would have experience in horsemanship and continue to nurture his training and affection.
