Reata is the sweetest little baby filly. She is a year and a half old right now and was born here at our place. I train horses for a living and have handled her since the moment she hit the ground. You’d be hard pressed to find a better behaved youngster. Knowing this, she has also lived out in pasture her entire life, learning necessary skills from her mother and herd. We have not done much formal training with her due to her age, she’s just been exposed, handled, and cared for the right way since birth. Reata has never been yanked on or treated unfairly. Our video shows how soft, willing to give, brave, and loyal this filly already is. Reata will easily hold all four feet to be trimmed, stand quiet tied, load, has been around a rope plenty, has been ponied all over, and much more. She grew up around everything under the sun, cows, machinery, equipment, and so on. She has straight legs, four solid black feet, UTD on shots, feet, just had her teeth done for the first time, and should shed out solid black or Grulla like her mother. We would also say she should finish out around 15hh in height.
