Freya is a 1/2 Norwegian Fjord (Moody’s Olaf), 1/2 Quarter Horse mare and is 7 years old this year. She sticks at 14-1.5 hands. She has a wide range of skills ranging from the hunter/jumper ring to eventing and even packing in the mountains. She is super safe on the ground and has excellent manners, bathes, clips, and loads quietly with no problems and stands well for the farrier and the veterinarian. She has great feet and goes happily barefoot or in shoes. Freya has spent time on the trail for our hunting camp, competed in eventing, been to all the Pony Club rallies, and competed at recognized hunter/jumper events. My daughter has jumped her to 2’6” with scope for more. She responds to leg and changes leads easily, though not quite automatic yet. She will go around a jump course in only a neck rope, or will go to the mountains and pack out meat. She is super on the trail and will cross water and bridges. Freya also does great in the dressage arena with excellent scores. This last year she was on lease for a young girl for walk/trot and ground poles and did great. She is truly a fantastic pony, but, sadly, has been outgrown. Don’t miss out on this one!
