2021 Flashy Warmblood x Draft Gelding
Breckon has by far been one of the smartest horses I have ever worked with and he keeps things very entertaining with his outgoing personality. Not only is he extremely bright but he has the talent and looks to go with it. With a black coat, 4 white socks, blaze, brains and talent he will take someone very far in the jumping/dressage world.
His laid back yet curious personality, natural confidence, impeccable ground manners, and willingness to get up and move when asked will make him a barn favorite. He will even make a great trail horse. He is a curious horse that will meet you at the gate and love's attention.
His groundwork is phenomenal and he moves off a feather light touch. He is started under saddle and knows how to walk, trot, canter, turn on the forehand and hindquarters, neck rein, back, and side pass under saddle. Has an excellent start to him and solid foundation and is ready for someone to pick him up and have fun furthering his career.
He had some inconsistent riding the past couple months but has recently been put back in a consistent program and he has made lots of progress in a short amount of time. The videos from September do not do him justice for how far he has continued to come since the consistent riding.
The owner does not show dressage nor jump and he was purchased as a project to start and put a solid foundation on. Horses with a confident non spooky personality like his are a rare find in the hunter jumper/dressage world and he is worth his weight in gold for that alone. He is the same horse at home as he is when taken to a new place.
He has the talent to take someone very far with his lofty floating trot he likes to show off in the pasture. He is currently not registered but can be registered with the Warmblood Association with a DNA test. He stands 15.2h now and should finish around 16.1h.
