Storm is a 9 year old Grade, spayed mare. She stands at 14.3 H. This sweet girl is GENTLE! She has training on both the Head and Heel side but most prefer Head side on her. She’ll w/t/l around on a loose rein in whatever bridle you have handy. I’ve ridden her in a halter, snaffle, correction, you name it and she’ll go in it. She neck reins very nicely but if you prefer two hands she’ll just as easily ride like that. Storm picks up both leads with ease and is super smooth in her lope. She’ll give you a big trot or a little jog depending on what you ask for. Overall she’s got a really great handle and most people will be able to enjoy this pretty mare. She’d make a great practice head horse, good for lower number ropers, or would make an excellent horse for a handy teenager. She does have a motor so I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner but any one that has been riding and used to normal cues could have a lot of fun on her!

Storm is such a sweetheart on the ground and in the saddle. She acts more like a gelding than a mare most days! She’s happy to be with you and get loved on any day! Storm is great for the vet and farrier. She is has recently been seen by our Vet, Farrier, and Dentist. Stands tied nicely, and loads on the trailer and backs off like she’s on autopilot. She is good in a herd with other mares or geldings, or does fine by herself as well.
