If you’ve been thinking about owning a gypsy, or are looking to add another OUTSTANDING mare to your current program, we have decided to offer WR Heavenly Nile “Niles” to a new and exceptional home only. She comes bred to our blue roan stallion, SD Blue for a 2025 foal so this is a two in one package!
Niles is 12 years old standing 14.3hh. She has had two phenomenal blue roan foals for us, one colt and one filly. She is a wonderful mother, very attentive to her foals and also very comfortable letting people touch or handle them. Easy to breed (in hand live cover both times), foals easily, great milker.
Niles has a very strong pedigree- if you’ve been researching the breed you’ll recognize all of these names! GG Starbuck, Latcho Drom, The Gypsy King, Cushti Bok to name a few. If you like early import names, this is your gold nugget!
She is super-easy to handle and has excellent manners. Bathes, clips, blows, stands for the farrier, no issues for the vet, and will stand for hours to be brushed and braided. Up to date on all vaccines, dental care, deworming, and farrier. Available to leave when her colt is weaned: September/October. Payment plans considered.
* As a breeder, my first question when I see another breeder parting with a breedable mare is WHY? What’s wrong with her? To satisfy this curiosity for you I will explain. Niles came to us under special circumstances, she had been rescued from an unfortunate situation and landed with us to recover. I did not buy her for our breeding program but after a year with us I saw so much I liked in her that I decided to give her a try with our stallion and was tickled pink with what she produced! We repeated the breeding and, once again, she outdid herself! She did us so well, but now I’m ready to move her on because ultimately I’d like to replace her with a little heavier solid-colored mare. (Yes, we all have our favorite colors 😜) Niles is a great girl and I love her very much. I will be picky about where she goes 💞
