11-yr-old QH x TB gelding. Approximately 16 h. River goes western or english. Looking for a new home that includes light work or a role as a pasture buddy. He had some time off but has been in light work in a lesson program since November 2023. He is pretty quiet, has all the buttons, has been used on a ranch, patterned for barrels, dressage, and a little jumping. Always a gentleman - has never reared or bucked. Good to trailer, stands for farrier, clippers, etc. He is a headshaker- symptoms are mostly mild and don't seem to affect him while working, but occasionally his symptoms worsen for short periods. Does better with less alfalfa in his diet. He needs routine shoeing. He is herdbound so probably not suitable for a beginner. Has a heart murmur that has not affected him and the vet was not concerend about. Currently on a weight gain program as he lost weight over winter. Selling to help afford my eventing horse.
