Husky Frenchman, affectionately named Monkey after his love for bananas, is a 6 year old bay AQHA gelding with personality to spare! His sire is One Famous Frenchman who is a son of Frenchmans Guy out of a Dash Ta Fame mare. Monkey rides English, Western, bareback, trails - you name it he does it! He has been lightly started over fences and loves to jump! He is willing and handy in an arena, moving off your leg nicely with a great side pass. He has done a little bit of showmanship and would be great at it if he was taught! He stands 16hh and is big enough for any size rider. Monkey stands perfectly still while mounting and loads easily! He has experience with tarps and other trail obstacles! No vices and gets along well with all his pasture mates. Monkey would excel as an all-around guy and would become an amazing partner for anyone willing to spend time with him! He’d be a dream versatility horse for a 4-H’er. He’s sure to take a joke and to make you laugh! He is only for sale because his kid has moved on to other sports. PPEs are welcome at the buyer's expense. We have owned Monkey just a little over a year and the previous owner's vet discovered a bone cyst near his pastern joint. The vet who did our PPE felt confident it wasn't likely to cause him any trouble and hasn't caused him one bit of trouble while we have been his owners. Will only sell to a good home with references.
