“Prince Caspian” is your knight in shining armor that you have dreamed of owning. This stunning blue roan 16.1H 10 year old quarter horse gelding is such a unique guy. Prince is laid back, forgiving, incredibly sweet, personable to own, and most of all -- super seasoned! Prince is a go with the flow, lazy, easy going, push to go kind of horse. He says he prefers the slower speeds in life, but with a determined rider will frame up and do all the western dressage jazz. Prince LOVES to trail ride – he does not look to spook, has a great walk down the trail, navigates well over fallen limbs, over bridges, and confidently goes through water. He will go with a group or by himself with ease. He is comfortable in the arena as well. With his english background, Prince, has great transitions, collects into a snaffle, and will go around on a loose rein! He has a rhythmic canter and a lovely pitter patter jog you can sit all day long!

Prince is the kind of horse that will walk up to you in the pasture and shove his face in the halter – he is VERY easy to catch and loves attention! He loves to be groomed, bathed, and stands beautifully in the cross ties. We have hauled him off property plenty of times, and he is a good boy anywhere you take him. He is good with fly spray, clippers, picks up his feet easy, etc. He stands like a gentleman at the mounting block and will wait for you to adjust your stirrups till you are ready to walk off.

Prince was formerly in a beginner family’s home. A young beginner youth rider took lessons on him and rode him both out on the trails and in the arena. He will jump over small stuff, ride bareback, ride western, pack the smalls around, go english, and will ride wherever you point him. This is a no prep type of horse – get on and go. He has not offered to buck, rear, or bolt under saddle with us. In a stall he is a good boy as well (no crib etc), and can turn out/play with others as well.
