Jess A Rue D Rue is a fancy 7 year old buckskin gelding that we have put into every situation possible down the trails and out gathering cattle. He fearlessly takes on any obstacle you encounter, effortlessly maneuvering through various terrain and he navigates carefully through the densest brush. Rue crosses creeks and muddy bogs without hesitation and is a confident companion that doesn't get spooked. We ride him by the highway, heavy equipment, wildlife, dogs and know he is always going to be safe. Rue responds with light cues; travels out at the speed you ask on a loose rein and is easily guided with a one hand neck rein. Rue has the cutest, most smooth lope you could ask for. His jog is the exact same; smooth and comfortable. He will extend trot when asked. Rue is a very pretty mover if you wanted to take him to some ranch shows. Rue's a complete gentleman on the ground, bathing, standing tied for hours, good for the farrier, loads right up in the trailer and backs out. His friendly personality always makes a day better! He's easy to catch, always aims to please and will be the one you want to go catch and ride every day. Rue is not one you have to ride everyday though he's always saddled up gentle and ready to go. Rue's versatility extends beyond trail riding. He is comfortable with flags, tarps and playing with the large ball in the arena. He goes through the trail obstacles with ease where he will cross bridges, logs, teeter-tooter, and so much more! Rue has been ridden by all levels of riders. His kind nature and gentle demeanor make him perfect for the whole family. He stands for you to get on from the ground or a mounting block. Rue is 14.2h, packed into a gorgeous gold buckskin package that you will really enjoy! We love everything about him. His natural ability, easy going attitude, confidence and all at only 7 years old is some of the best characters one can have.
