Krogs Badger Doc aka "Groot" has tons of personality and is an awesome guy to be around. He loads, hauls, clips, bathes, good for the farrier, self pens/respects fences, low man in pecking order, he gets along great with other horses and loves attention from people. Can haul alone or with others, not buddy sour at all. He eats and drinks well while away from home. We bought Groot 18 months ago from a friend for my teenage daughter to run barrels. They have struggled to click, as Groot tends to be on the lazy and stubborn side and is definitely a "Push Style" type. In his early years he was roped off of. The last five years he has been used for all the WHO gaming events (barrels, poles, figure 8, flags and keyhole) and NW Youth Rodeos (Barrel Racing). He has some speed and can cover ground when he chooses to. He is NOT for a Beginner! Experienced Rider Only as he can take advantage of his rider. Has been known to be cold-backed and unpredictable under saddle. We recently bought my daughter a new horse and Groot has been on the back burner. Groot deserves a confident partner that will make him work and will give him a job. Groot is currently getting legged back up. No Maintenance and is Sound! Had Chiropratic, Dental, Dewormed and Vaccinations done the end of March. Was shod on April 4th. Has current Coggins also. Message for more photos and videos.
