2013 GVHS black gelding that is 14.2hh and as wide as he is tall! Mr Mustache has been a barn favorite and is going to be the light of someone’s world, wherever he may end up! I cannot say a negative thing about this guy, I will hate to see him leave when he does find his forever home! This boy has always been well cared for and loved, from showing in the arena at the gyspy circuit shows in the mid-west to being a little girl’s first horse, he done all of his jobs perfectly! From the arena to the trails he does it all! Mr Mustache has been shown in the halter classes, western pleasure, ranch trail, gaming, and english equitation at the breed shows. We have started him over cross rails and he absolutely loves it! He has all the buttons a person could ever need and has countless hours of training! He would be perfect to transition into the dressage, western or traditional and/or the working equitation. Mr Mustache will lope off on the correct lead from a walk, will side pass, pivot and back up with ease and transitions off of voice or seat commands effortlessly. He is very forgiving and great with the kiddos and beginners who are just learning and needing some guidance. He is easily maintained at home without a trainer!
From the trails to town, Mr Mustache is as safe as they get! Bombproof some would say! He is very well desensitized to everything and has been apart of group trail rides, parades and large event gatherings. He will ride out alone or in a group with no problem! He will also pony behind another horse while packing a kiddo or pack saddle if needed! He is comfortable with load noises, traffic, and 70 mph vehicles passing him. On the trails, he will go wherever you point him with no hesitation, he loves water! He will cross over all types of terrain, obstacles and logs! Mr. Mustache has plenty of experience with moving and working cattle and does not shy from wildlife, crazy children or other farm animals. He was also started on driving but had not been hitched recently and would need refresher!
Back at the stable, Mr. Mustache is very low maintenance and does not have any special requirements! He does well stalled or turned out, gets along with the entire herd and will greet you at the gate! He stands to be tacked, bathed, and groomed! He will fall asleep while you braid his hair or brush his feathers! He is a very easy keeper and is barefoot! He is a perfect gentleman for the vet, farrier, and dentist! Mr Mustache is UTD on all of his coggins, vaccinations, dental and trimming needs!
