š„Once in a Lifetime Horseš„ āØJo MarieāØ - 16 hands and THICK - 6 years old - Quarab/draft mare - 60 rides: 30 days professional training, road riding, camping, trail riding, solo and in groups - UTD on vaccines, trims, and dental - Fantastic ground manners! - Ready to finish in any direction! Jo is not a retired bucking horse or an ex-amish horse: she is a princess. She was born at our farm and we've raised her since day one. She was imprinted at birth, haltered day two, picking up feet day three, and by 3 months old she packed an empty pony saddle down trails beside her mom. She's never known a harsh word or a heavy hand. She's got a heart of gold, a willing disposition, and an innate love for people! She yields her hind quarters, stands tied anywhere, loads, can be lead by children, lunges, and saddles drama free. Catch her anywhere! She loves to be groomed and is no fuss for fly spray, the vet, or farrier. We started backing Jo *lightly* as a 2 year old but didn't start riding her regularly/heavily until she was fully mature. She just turned six and has around 60 rides on her! This includes road riding, trail riding, hauling to ride, camping, riding alone and in groups, and 30 days at a professional trainer. She goes over/through anything you point her at and has taken well to traffic. Within two weeks at the trainer's she was packing lesson kids. This girl has been the easiest horse alive to start and should be a breeze to polish out for an experienced rider/a beginner working with a trainer! Absolutely no meanness from her! She is very light and responsive and loves to please. With a few more wet pads she'll be the one you can toss absolutely anyone on! Jo can plod along the trail or give her rider speed and agility if asked! She is a truly versatile mare that would make an excellent hobby horse, a dependable workhorse, a stunning dressage horse, or a formidable jousting/police horse š There is no discipline in which this beauty won't excel! Jo is only available because we are getting out of horses due to my health. The only bad thing I can say is that she has *mild* seasonal allergies! She's asymptomatic with light maintenance which I am happy to detail to interested parties. She is UTD on all vaccines and just had her teeth & feet done. She's barefoot with excellent feet but will take a shoe as well. PSSM negative! Located in Graysville, IN and happy to schedule visits! Videos do not do this girl justice. Everyone who has ever ridden Jo has fallen in love with her! She's a 1400# cupcake who will be somebody's trophy horse for life. Don't miss out on this exceptional treasure! I promise you'll never find another one like herā¤ļø
