Rusty is a six yo draft cross gelding. He was started as a 4 yo, had some time with a natural horsemanship trainer and then, asided from the ocassional trail ride (due to owner's health), sat for two years. He's back in training now and progressing rapidly. He is a big, strapping horse and a big mover. We think he would be well suited as a gentleman's foxhunter. He did hunt one time this season (we got him just in time for the final hunt) and was good. He hacks out alone and in company, is lovely in the barn-for the farrier, vet, etc., loads on anything and is an all around good guy. He could go in any direction (including dressage) in a regular program. He's smart, brave and sensible and he's the right age, the right size and right temperament to develop into a fabulous partner.
