Proudly representing this sweet as they come gelding, Velvet. We were selected to help find the most special home for this stunning black gelding. He’s on consignment with us and we couldn’t be more excited to show him off... we believe he’ll sell to the first person to come try him bc he’s that easy to ride and get along with.
He’s the easiest horse to ride and be around. He became a barn favorite upon his arrival as he acted like he’s lived with us his whole life as he didn’t need time to settle in. Easy going "old soul" exuding a sweetness and confidence with everything we did with him during his evaluation. From "scary" tarps, pushing cows, pushing around the big ball, riding on new trails, obstacles, going through water (which he loves) and being around traffic... he passed everything with flying colors. He’ll ride out alone or in groups and you’ll feel like you’re on the most Cadillac of a horse... take him up or down steep inclines and he’ll rate himself without rushing. He has smooth gates and is push button to ride.
Velvet has even been used for lessons. He does well around kids, commotion and minds his business while he’s standing tied next to other horses. He truly is suitable for any rider to enjoy and would even fit a beginner who wants to learn to ride correct and grow with a horse that will help you learn.
Velvet stands quiet for the farrier, trailers, clips, quiet for bath and groom time and loves all the attention.
