Ronnie is a beautiful, sound gelding, we playfully call "Fabio" for his outstanding mane and tail. He started his young life at an Arabian farm in Southern Oregon. Trained as a halter horse competing and winning regionally and at the larger breed shows in Arizona as a stud colt.

At age 4 he was put into a training program under saddle. His first week under saddle he was ridden outdoors, bareback, in a snaffle bit! Telling of his non-aggressive and gentle behavior, even as a stallion.

He spent 3-4 months learning arena work. We wanted to bring him home which required us to geld him, as we had no accommodations for a stallion. Before hauling him home we had him collected several times to store semen, he currently has sired two beautiful filles with his same gorgeous physique and sweet nature. They are nearly a year old now.

He has since ridden over a hundred miles of trails. He's been hauled to the Oregon Coast, Mt Hood, Mt Adams, horse camped and continues arena work.

Ronnie clips, hauls, and bathes quite easily. He is a willing participant in everything we do. He aims to please. His ground manners are pretty much flawless. He requires an intermediate or advanced beginner rider because he is high energy to start (trail or arena). For trail riding he needs 10 to 15 minutes to get his jitters out or a good lunging.

There is no aggressive behavior or meanness in this horse. He is gentle. He would make an excellent project horse for a youth or enthusiastic adult. He loves to be groomed and fussed over. He is a finished halter horse and would gladly take on showmanship, Western pleasure, trail or...? His possibilities are endless.

He currently lives on a 20 acre farm with excellent care and lots of attention. Our number one priority in finding Ronnie a new home is a loving and safe environment, where he will be treated as part of the family. His care and safety is of upmost importance to us. We reserve the right to ask the potential buyer for a visit to their home or the barn where he will be cared for. We will also be asking for references as to the character of the buyer.
