Meet Panda

Born June 02, 2004. He's an older gentleman with lots of life and love left to give. Really just a giant teddy bear.

He's been used in 4-H, some open shows, has done quite a few parades, has packed elk, lots of hills, lots or leisurely riding by kids and beginners.

Panda is very laid back and go with the flow. Happy to meet you at the gate and loves to be loved on. Has never offered to buck, kick, bite or bolt. He's nice and steady, has a big stride. Gets along with everyone, does great on pasture. No major maintenance and on no medication. We keep him barefoot most the time. He's always been a big healthy easy keeper.

Panda is the type of horse that is great for learning how to ride. He's a good babysitter, but requires direction from his rider and will stop moving when you stop riding.
Rides in a hackamore, moves off leg pressure.

No bad habits, his only disclosures would be that he likes to open gates, but stays in ones that are chained (If he does get out, he doesn't wander off and walks right up to you). Also, due to his size, he gets a little nervous loading in smaller trailers. Just needs a bit of reassurance.


Panda truly is that one special golden horse that every family is looking for. We are moving 2,000+ miles away from our current home, or we would never consider selling.
