Hickory is bred to be an athlete with some of the cow horse industryโs legends like High Brow Hickory and CD Olena on his papers.
Hickory is handy broke with lots of buttons. Lopes off in the correct lead, smoothly picks up his gaits with a nice stop. Moves off leg pressure, stays light in the bridle & neck reins around like a good broke horse should. He is quiet & easy to get along with.
He may be young, but this gelding has dabbled in a bit of everything! He has been rode in & out of the arena, Hickory loves going for a cruise down the trails. Hickory has tracked and roped the sled, he shows a lot of promise as a rope horse. Things that scare the average horse, do not phase Hickory. He has an amazing mind & has seen every sort of flappy tarp + oddball trail obstacle we could find. The sky is the limit for a horse like Hickory, he can go any direction & with his training, he is ready to pick up the career of your choosing!
