A bom-proof mare! This little lady is such a treasure to our family. She has had countless beginner riders on her back and always does what she is asked to do...she has never let us down. Super fun to ride, yet safe, predictable and reliable. While she has so many talents, we primarily trail ride with her. Mascara has a trot to die for...you could sip a cup of tea on her back. She will cross anything you point her nose at, yet is very sensible and surefooted - I trust her in any situation. She has been my son's horse since he was a 4 year old. He can climb on her back when she's lying down in the pasture and she won't move a muscle until he gets off :-) I've done some cattle work with her - she is super confident around cows and is happy to push them around. Mascara is not herd bound; she moves out nicely on her own and happy riding solo. She has good speed and stops on a dime - she would make a great gaming horse or all around 4H pleasure horse. We're only selling her because my son has outgrown Mascara and she is just too smart and wonderful to not be ridden to her full potential!
