Owen” is a 14.1 hh 10 yr old German Riding Pony by Makuba. Owen is a powerhouse of a pony that would make a great pro investment or a fun mount for a junior/small adult.

Owen has shown up to 2nd level dressage with scores in the 60s. He has started his career in jumping and loves it! With his first XC outing he jumped everything I pointed him at and loved the water. His changes are almost there but will need finishing.

Owen self loads on the trailer and steps off at any new place and goes right to work like any other day. He is the easiest to keep in the barn and handle. My little students groom him and tack him for me. He rides bareback and hacks out on trails. He is currently barefoot and has great feet.

This pony is flashy and the first one any new person in the barn notices immediately! Owen would do best in a program where he can reach his full potential. He is about to start showing in the Hunter ring and his price will increase.


I will have more jumping videos this week. The last videos you will find one of my younger students on him. That being said he is not for total beginners. Owen has a good motor and can have big movements. (His extended trot is probably one of the most fun ones I have ridden).
