This stunning jet black mare is so sweet and absolutely loves all attention she can get. She loves to look deeply into your eyes and will even turn her head to look at your face and will give you hugs with her head and neck. She is just such a sweetie! You cannot help but fall in love with her. Under saddle, Secret is a lovely mover oozing with dressage talent, and she would also love to be an all-around horse and can do multiple disciplines. Secret is not spooky, needs no prep or lunging, has no buck or rear and is a safe prospect suitable for an amateur rider to bring along. She gobbles up attention and has an amazing disposition. She is gentle and sweet and very kind and has lovely manners.
Secret has been the same horse off-property as she is at home - cool and collected. She walks right on the trailer, happily goes through water, hacks around, is started in dressage with a wonderful foundation. Secret also trail rides like a pro, quietly & happily going down the trail like a much older horse and is regularly trailering off property for low-key fun trail rides!
Update June 15: Secret went to her first horse show, was a complete doll and won 1st place and 2 3rd places in dressage in open company.
She is very well-bred, her sire's side has many predicates (Sport, Ster, Preferent, etc) and her grandfather is a popular dressage sire.
On her dam's side, she also has Morgan lineage (25%), making her a lovely mix of both breeds and bred for longevity, endurance, brains, and movement. This is one positively stunning high quality mare with her whole life ahead. I am excited to meet her person and I know she will be the horse of a lifetime for someone.
Secret has no vices, no soundness issues, no blemishes, no quirks. She is barefoot and not on any maintenance. She is great for vet and farrier, has great manners, loads & ships, bathes, clips. She is NOT mareish, including when in season, and I have not even seen her lay her ears back or swish her tail at any horse or person. She is a true sweetie and an exceptional, high quality mare who wants to be your best friend. <3
