Registration in progress: Stoney Hill Åse Åse (pronounced o’-seh …like Elsa, only with an ‘oh’ sound rather than ‘el’) is a darling filly who is doing well in the halter training process. At 3 weeks of age, she will allow all 4 feet to be lifted (even while in the pasture) and stands tied for brief periods in the stall with her dam present. She resides on our small regenerative farm and has been acclimated to 3 strand electric perimeter fence as well as single strand grazing fence that is moved each day. Åse has a beautifully balanced conformation with very correct legs and a friendly and outgoing demeanor. Her dam carries 1 copy of the gene for grey coat color, so there is a possibility that this filly could inherit that as well. Photo above was taken at 2 weeks of age. We will be updating our website soon, but if you would like to view additional photos of the sire and dam, feel free to view our ad from last year for Åse’s full brother, Arken. https://www.stoneyhillmicrocreamery.com/fjord-horses **NOTE: presence of white markings: Åse was born with a white hoof wall on her left rear foot. This marking does not prevent registration, nor will it affect health or performance in any way. Contact Rachel with questions, or if you’d like to set up an appointment to meet Åse!
