Meet Gravy! This horse has the absolute best personality. He’s gentle, kind, and easy to be around. He’s also a big, handsome guy at 15hh. Everyone asks about him when he goes to town! Gravy has been used outside to gather a wide range of country, been trail ridden extensively, used as a turnback horse, been branded on, roped the lead steer and the sled, and generally has a great handle both in and out of the arena. He’s also been my go-to colt starting horse this spring–his unflappable nature makes him the best guy for the job. I’d trust Gravy with almost any rider. He’s very laid back. I’ve ridden him bareback, leaned out of the saddle to pick stuff up off the ground, and climbed all over him and nothing fazes him. He’s been hauled a ton and even competed in the skijoring this winter! Gravy’s top side goes back to the great High Brow Cat and his dam is a daughter of Strait From Texas, a stallion that earned more than 2000 APHA performance points in the roping, reining, and cowhorse. This is a very nice, sound, quiet young gelding that most people would enjoy. He sells as lot 17 on the Women Of The Wild West Horse Sale in Gooding, ID on May 26th.
