Sassafras is an eye-catching, talented filly that could go in any direction. She possesses the levelheadedness of the draft combined with the bright coloration of the Appaloosa. Born in May of 2023, her dam is one of the very few registered Black Forest Drafts in the US and her sire is 97% foundation Appaloosa. She could be registered in the International Draft & Sporthorse registry.
Very friendly, Sassy has three lovely gaits, leads, picks up her feet, and is learning to load. She is brave and curious.
She is e/e A/a with one copy of LP and one copy of PATN1 as indicated in her UC Davis color panel. She has a VERY thick mane (two-sided) and tail.
Sassy would be a quality genuine Allrounder, or would also excel in Working Equitation and trail. She is an easy keeper. Dam is around 15 hh and sire is 15.2 hh.
