Are you feeling lucky today? Then Clover is your girl. At 15 hands, and 4 years old, this Belgian Welsh cross mare is as kind as they come and 100% sound and safe with no vices. In the barn, Clover will stand tied all day for little kids to tack and groom. She stands behind a stall guard with no problem, and doesn’t mind being in the barn by herself. Clover is great for baths, clipping, mane pulling, farrier, and anything else you may ask of her. She is out in a mixed herd with a mini cow, and doesn’t have any issues getting along with everyone. Clover has a wonderful disposition and never causes any problems.
Clover is exceptional on trails. She loads right up on the trailer and quietly walks off. Clover is as relaxed as they come and never bats an eye at anything. She will walk or trot on a loose rein and has no issues crossing bridges, going up or down banks, or navigating through trappy terrain. This young girl would make someone an awesome trail partner for many years to come. Clover doesn’t mind being in the front, middle or back, she’s just happy to be there. If you’re looking for a safe and reliable mount to ride cross country, you have found your match. Clover would be an exceptional fox hunter with her docile nature. She doesn’t mind dogs running around her, and she is in no rush to get anywhere fast. Clover has even given pony rides at a local fair. She stepped off the trailer like an old pro and didn’t perk an ear at the chaos. With traffic rushing by, kids running around, she couldn’t care less. What else can you ask of a 4 year old?
In the ring, Clover is still green, but she will happily walk, trot, and canter. Clover has been started slowly and is ready to be finished your own way. She has given beginner walk-trot lessons and is happy to walk over poles. Clover is brave to her jumps and looks cute doing it. She is level headed enough for anyone.
