I bought Titan at the age of 2 due to his beautiful, effortless canter. I wanted a Dutch Harness Horse and I saw that some struggled with the canter. When I saw Titan at the age of 2, I knew he was special. His trot was big and lofty but he cantered with ease and was so light on his feet. Titan has had a ton of ground work with me. He was slow to mature so I continued ground work until he was mature enough for a training program. He was saddled, bridled, ponied, since he was 2. Last Fall, he adapted to under saddle training easily, no buck, no bolt, no rear. He is very willing and enjoys learning. He is very, very smart meaning he could get bored easily and needs a lot of variety. He is willing in the arena and absolutely loves to trail ride. He has trail miles and has been exposed to everything but is a clean slate and is ready for more specific training. Someone with experience with this breed would be ideal. He is sensitive and relies on his rider for direction. He has a cute, friendly, goofball personality. As you can tell, this horse is very special to me. He is only for sale because we have switched disciplines. We are in our 60s and a trip to Iceland last summer prompted us to switch disciplines to Icelandic horses. My goal for Titan is finding the right home for him. Let me know what you are looking for and what your expectations are.
