Compact and athletic! Well trained, rides off seat and leg, neck reins, great in the arena, trails, and ocean, has been exposed to cows and clinics, has been shown in Ranch Riding, stands for farrier and vet. Loads/unloads in trailer (both ramp and step up).

Needs an intermediate, experienced rider who will give her a job and the time she deserves.

Pre purchase exam (at buyers expense) is always encouraged.

Sound, needs shoes in front. Respects fence lines and stalls. No bad habits. First to meet you at the gate. Stands at the mounting block and doesn’t budge until you ask.

I’ve ridden her on trails, at the ocean, at play days and at clinics. She has been exposed to cows as well and is very cowy. She needs an advanced beginner or intermediate rider. She doesn’t spook often, but when she does, I’ve never come off her. It’s usually just a quick side hop or a freeze in place if it happens. She has only bucked once in the 4 years I’ve ridden her and that was when I was a very green rider, and I did not come off of her. She protects her rider when she can. There are two situations that come to mind that show what a good mare she is…the first, I was off balance when coming off the barrels and she put herself back under me and made the save! On another occasion I was dismounting and my jacket caught on the pommel (I was dangling) and she just stood quietly as I got myself untangled.

She has been shown in ranch riding a few times with her previous owner and took first in both shows. She responds off of leg and seat and can be ridden bit-less, I ride her in a Steve Rother comfort snaffle. I’ve also used a Jr Cowhorse.

She is very adaptable and usually on the low end of the pecking order.
