SNH Mojave Mamma "Momo" is an intelligent strong-willed mare who I have owned since she was 14 months old, bred and born in Kentucky. I broke her with natural horsemanship as a 3-year-old and she was the most amazing, bombproof, naturally gaited mare ever. she rode bitless, or in a snaffle barefoot or in boots (which I am happy to sell with her) Momo was ridden all over Arizona, had all the buttons, and was extremely brave and versatile. She has camped, high lined, had guns shot around her, rode in groups big or small, front or back and when ridden regularly was extremely reliable. Momo had her first colt at 4.5 years old and has been off riding since due to life getting in the way, I did ride her a few months ago a couple times and she is flinchy, spooky, and definitely HOT! Which is not an issue for me I just don't have the consistency or time to be her ONE and only person and to restart her under saddle, I'm am selling out most of my horses due to lack of time and consistency. She deserves someone who can restart her, bond with her and loves the paso type energy she embodies. Since being off and having her babies she has been treated for ulcers but she may need to be on a regular regimen, and or hormone balancers. She is a very bossy mare if confined to small paddocks and prefers bigger turn outs with bossy friends. She knows catch me game, how to come to a mounting block, trailering, saddling, and bridling. Unfortunately, with the time off I would reconsider her GREEN. She is NOT for beginners or even intermediate riders. She needs a confident experienced person or someone who is willing to send her to a trainer to get her back to where she needs to be. She can be an amazing, cuddly beautifully gaited and minded horse. She is just not getting the time she deserves here and needs to find the right person to be her heart person. If you think you'd like to make this dragon yours let me know and ask any questions you'd like. She is SOUND, PPE's welcome at buyers' expense and is ready to go. Price reflects her abilities and I understand the work that needs to go back into her to get her back to the best she can be.
