Shot was a race horse with 33 starts and a decent race record. She was purchased from the track and bred; then abandoned by her owner at a boarding stable while pregnant. She had a colt in 2021 and was a super mommy. Since then she has been turned out, rested, and brought back into work under saddle. Shot is eager to learn and tries to find the answer you are looking for. She is sensitive but sensible. She is bold and not flighty or spooky. Her first post track outing last week was a dressage show (after a few rides) and she took it all in stride. She is a lovely mover with good potential. I think she would be a good low level combined training, hunter, or dressage prospect. Or a little of each. She has been trail ridden and been around cows too. She has good conformation and is put together well, with a deep barrel and balanced proportions. The rider in the picture is 5’8” tall. Shot moves very nicely and has a kind eye and a pretty face. She would be suitable for an intermediate rider to finish, with a trainer. She is not suitable for a beginner as she is green. Shot is a good all around mare. She is barefoot and has been out 24/7 for the last several years. She would like a stall and turn out. She is up to date on vaccines, trims, teeth, and deworming and she has a recent Coggins test. She has not been unsound since I have owned her. She had an upset tummy late in her pregnancy so we treated her for an ulcer. This is a nice mare who will make a great all arounder for the right person.
