Sapphire is truly a once-in-a-lifetime horse. She is the full package and then some. Sapphire stands a stout 16.1 hands tall and has a personality to match. I have owned Sapphire since she was two years old, so if you want to know anything, I can answer with confidence. She rides Western or English. She is safe for anyone to ride, even with time off, but she does have a big motor, so I would not let a beginner ride her unmonitored. She has been ridden and climbed on and under by kids practically her whole life. She knows how to take it slow and easy for the less confident riders, but for those who know how to ride, she will kick it up a notch really fast when asked. Sapphire is fancy, fancy, light in the face, and very responsive to cues; she has never been ridden rough or mishandled. She knows everything a six-year-old horse should know, from flying lead changes to good stops and easy spins. You can open and close gates on her with ease. She stops well and backs up readily. She knows how to collect at each gait. She can lope a tight circle and knows how to counter ark and spin. She rides well brideless just off of leg pressure and neck reins well. Sapphire has done everything, from riding lessons to paydays, camping trips, barrel jackpots, roping and sorting, and jumping. She is solid on barrels and has a good start on roping. She loves to work cows and is a true ranch horse at heart. Sapphire does not mind anything, and she loves a job!!! You name it; she has been exposed to it: trains, traffic, working farm equipment, dogs, crowds of people, guns, chickens, and donkeys. Sapphire has a BIG HEART with a lot of try in whatever she is asked! She has done all ranch work and ridden hundreds of miles of trails in open and closed arenas. She is lightly started over jumps. She loves going places, hauls well, and excels in competition. She comes trotting to meet you in the pasture and has never been a problem to catch. Sometimes, she would rather hang out with people than the other horses. Sapphire stands tied quite for fly spray, saddling, or just while waiting for her turn to get ridden. She is not buddy sour or barn sour. Sapphire has been one of my favorite horses to own and train, and a good home is of the utmost importance! She is easy and fun to work with and beyond smart; she wants to please and has so much try. She is a true BEST FRIEND/HEART HORSE that you will want to keep for life. She has so much character and personality; she will have you cracking up and laughing daily. Nobody has a bad day around Sapphire! Sapphire had her teeth floated in March 2024. She has current noggins and PPE. Any interested buyers are welcome to have any additional inspections or
