Sapphire is truly a once in a life time horse. She is the full package and then some. Sapphire stands a stout 16.1 hands tall and has a personality to match. I have owned Sapphire since she was 2 years old, so anything you want to know I can answer with confidence. She rides Western or English. She is safe for anyone to ride, even with time off, but she does have a big motor so I would not stick a beginner on her unmonitored. She has been ridden and climbed on and under by kids practically her whole life. She knows how to take it slow and easy for the less confidant riders, but for those who know how to ride, will kick it up a notch really fast when asked. Sapphire is fancy, fancy, light in the face and very responsive to cues, she has never been ridden rough or miss handled. She knows everything a six year old horse should know, from flying lead changes, to good stops and easy spins. You can open and close gates on her with ease. She stops good and backs up readily. She knows how to collect at each gait. She can lope a tight circle and knows how to counter ark and spin. She rides well bridless just off of leg pressure and neck reins well. Sapphire has pretty much done it all, from riding lessons to paydays, camping trips, to barrel jackpots, to roping and sorting, to jumping. She is solid on barrels and has a good start on roping. She loves to work cows and is a true ranch horse at heart. Nothing bothers Sapphire, and she loves a job!!! You name it she has been exposed to it, trains, traffic, working farm equipment, dogs, crowds of people, guns, chickens and donkeys... Sapphire has a BIG HEART with a lot of try in whatever she is asked! She has done all manners of ranch work and ridden hundreds of miles of trails. Ridden in open and closed arenas. She is lightly started over jumps. She loves going places, hauls well, and excels in competition. She comes trotting to meet you in the pasture and has never been a problem to catch. Sometimes I think she would rather hang out with people over the other horses. Sapphire stands tied quite for fly spray, saddling, or just while waiting for her turn to get ridden. She is not buddy sour or barn sour. Sapphire has been one of my personal FAVORITE horses of all time to own and train and a good home is of the utmost importance!! She is easy and fun to work with and beyond smart, she wants to please and has so much try. She is a true BEST FRIEND/HEART HORSE that you will want to keep for life. She has so much character and personality; she will have you cracking up laughing daily; NOBODY has a bad day around Sapphire!!!! Sapphire had her teeth floated March 2024, has a current noggins and PPE. Any interested buyers are welcome to have any additional inspections or X-Reys done before her auction ends.
