Danzario de Gerval is by the PRE stallion Abanico XVIII. (Calificado Stallion - Listed in the Recommended breeding stock book of Spain. Imported from Spain, bred by Enrique de Benito. Approved with the Oldenburg Verband in 2019! Shown successfully to Intermediaire II. More info here.) Danzario has siblings all over the world including New Zealand, Canada, USA, France, Austria, Sweden, Spain. His brothers Morfeo and Romano were ridden to Grand Prix and lots of other siblings in the FEI levels.
Danzario is a charming, safe, and willing horse with a ton of heart and character! He has a solid show record through Second Level. He recently competed at Otter Creek Farm in May 2024, earning consistent scores from 62.973-64.595% in his Third Level debut, taking in the new environment like a pro!
​Danzario has plenty of power but he is not hot nor spooky. He would be a lovely horse for an Adult Amateur or Young Rider in a program. He is a horse you can just get on and have fun with! He shows aptitude for the piaffe, and is getting more confirmed in the flying changes. His half passes and extensions are fun highlights! He has done a bit of trail riding with friends and is reliable in new environments.
Danzario had a hind suspensory injury in the Fall of 2021. It was well treated, rested, and rehabbed. He has been in professional consistent training and normal turnout since the injury with no further issues. All vet information, including recent (May 2024) radiographs, will be available to potential buyers. No other health concerns or vices. He is an easy keeper, has lived outside 24/7 and can be stalled.
Danzario will continue in regular professional training and showing until sold.
