Juliette is a super friendly, people-loving, in-your-pocket horse that greets you at the gate, and never walks away from you when you want to catch her. She is easy to tack up, load, shoe, bathe, and trim. She is smart and willing. Juliette has a good mind and has never offered to do anything stupid like rear, buck, or bolt. Let's talk gait. Juliette is as natural as they come. She will flat-foot walk, (her gait of choice is a fox-walk) and she has the smoothest, most comfortable foxtrot ever! And you can push her up and she will do a super smooth running walk and, she is never pacey. She has a fast trail walk, but she will also slow down and walk with your non-gaited friends too. Juliette is excellent on trail, and began her young life being ponied in the mountains of Utah where she learned to cross water, bridges, dead fall, and negotiate steep and difficult terrain. She has always been careful with her footing, and she won't jam you going downhill. She handles trail obstacles calmly and confidently. Juliette has been trail ridden in Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Missouri; she is good in a group, or alone. And just for fun we have taken her through some obstacle courses, and she went right through everything, including the teeter totter. She backs, side-passes, stands to mount and dismount at the mounting block, and opens and closes gates. This pretty girl has always been up to date on worming, vaccinations, and dental care, and never any lameness or health issues. Juliette has a good mind, and is NOT stupid, flighty, or high-strung, but I put a level 5 on her temperament because she can get amped up once-in-a-while. It's not the "oh no, I'm going to die right now!" amped, it's more of the "knock-it-off!" kind of amped. :) However, for this cause Juliette is not for a novice and is best suited for a confident, intermediate and up rider. Juliette is a real beauty and I get compliments wherever I go. I have owned her since she was 18 months old. I purchased her because at one time I owned and showed her mom. I certainly have mixed feelings about selling her and pray she will be the right "fit" for someone out there. (Please note she was not completely shed out when photos were taken). Thank you for considering Juliette as your next trail partner. (Additional videos upon request)
