Maverick is a gentle mare that is fairly broke and started on the barrels. She has been used to gather cows, had a rope swung off of her, and has been hauled/entered in small jackpots. Good with her feet, easy to catch, loads and hauls well, blankets, easy to worm, stands for the vet, saddles, bridles with ease, has been ridden bareback, has had kids on her, dog broke, good around noise and 4wheelers, good with other horses, bathes easily, and is just a laid back gal. I can turn her out for months and bring her back with no buck or funny business. She has no kick, buck, or bite. Really wants to be loved on and in your pocket. I can haul her anywhere and not worry about spook or run offs. She is currently loping/high loping the barrel pattern and would make a cool breakaway horse. She was originally started by a reigned cowhorse trainer, and then had 45 days with a barrel horse trainer. She does not get hot, knows her leads, and moves off your legs. Her only fault is she needs shoes on or she will get touchy on her feet. Otherwise she's healthy and ready to go. Has been rode outside, and in the arena. An experienced youth could take and finish her as she's extremely calm, willing, and forgiving. Easy keeper, and overall requires minimal maintenance. Just farrier, Chiro, worming, all of the basics and nothing special. She would make a neat little rodeo horse, trail horse, gaming, she's up for anything. ride now breed later. She's pretty and has a great mind/temper to match. She's been on the back burner this year and her price reflects that, I will begin hauling/seasoning more and her price will increase with that. Vet check welcomed at buyers expense, her coggins is expired but I will have that taken care of prior to sell.
